In 1944 Picasso met Geneviève Laporte who was still a student. It was not until 1951 that they started a deep love affair. So it is natural that when Geneviève Laporte wrote "Le Soleil ébloui", Picasso illustrated it with 12 drawings.
100 copies of "Le Soleil ébloui" has been printed out on Velin d'Arches paper.
