This original hand-made stencil (pochoir) is after a pencil drawing of the portrait of Vlaminck by Amadeo Modigliani. A rare and beautiful image that was part of an oeuvre of portraits created using the pochoir process by Jacomet Atelier-Paris. This is an original vintage print.

RARE PROCESS FOR THIS ARTWORK.

Due to the exceptional true to the original printing of the pencil drawings, the print is very difficult to distinguish form the original drawing. The JACOMET process able to reproduce in the smallest details the original artwork, and its long hand-made process was only for rare and very limited editions.
